It has been over 3 weeks...

..since my paid subscription of photo album service has been down. What is going on?! Their response was always the same, simply "Sorry sir, I will get the person who is in charge of your account to contact you immediately.." I have lodged a complaint email to our national service provider seeking immediate rectifications or face certain ramifications. But I still have no reply from them and not a single phone call back 'immediately'. Seriously, I wonder how they service customers... A good lesson to me that poor..i mean very poor service still exist in our beloved country. I hope someone will do something about it especially it is our national service provider... So in the mean time my friends, please be as patient as I can be, and wait for them to fix the problem. Then I will put up new photos of my trip to Perth with my family, esp. pics of my two cutest darlings. For the religious, please pray with me too...

Pictures upload facility temporary down..

Hi friends, unfortunately I couldn't upload any pictures temporarily due to a recent upgrade of my broadband service. So I have to wait until I get a new password from my service provider. Anyway, I have just returned from a short holiday trip to Perth, Australia. It was really enjoyable and memorable. In fact, I have quite a lot of digital pictures to upload esp. of my two little ones when they were in Australia..but for now I can't do anything..Ohhh dear...

Samuel and Sandra taking a ride in a yellow limo..

Children in a yellow limo
My dear children taking a ride on the yellow limo.

Sandra watzing to the tune..

Sandra dancing
My daughter Sandra waltzing to the tune played over the speakers with her favourite toy showing off her dancing ability. She is my sweetest girl and I will love her forever and ever. I hope that she will become a fine young lady in the future.

Samuel and his new pair of snickers..

Samuel: 'My new shoes!.'
Samuel wearing his new pair of snickers. He is so happy that mummy finally bought him a nice pair of shoes. It was for the trip to Perth next week. He has never been abroad and I hope he will really love the trip. I still remembered when he asked me when we are going to fly in a plane, and I always told him that one day we will, and it is finally here for him to experience it.

Beautiful Sunset..

Beautiful sunset.
What a beautiful sunset it is. Was going out to fetch my children from the childcare centre. Right in front of me is this magnificent view of the source of all energy - the SUN. I seldom notice anymore dark spot / UFO in the sun. I wondered whether other people had seen the black spots in the sun (as in my pics) before...

Samuel and his sunglasses

Samuel in his sunglasses.
My son Samuel with his sunglasses on while we went out shopping. We were at Carrefour, Suntec City on Saturday. My dear daughter Sandra is seated in the trolley behind him. Look at him, he's so cool..

Haa..that was me.

Me driving...
Samuel secretly took this picture of me driving and I didn't know about it at all! Saw this pic in my phone then I knew it must have been him (from the angle and position..must be him). So this is how I would normally look like when I am driving the car.. I was going to pick up my wife with my two kids in the car. Pretty cool pic huh?. Very stunning me......heee. Come to think of it, I have been driving for 13 years.

BBQ gathering for the Practicumates..

BBQ gathering for the Practicumates.
My fellow practicumates from PYSS. I really miss them a lot. Our camaraderie went back to those special days when we fought together. Anyway, we were all having so much fun at Sherry's condo BBQ area. Next to us was the condo swimming pool. So nice and oh it was also very windy that night! Needless to say, the BBQ fire was quite easy to start with the help from the eastern wind. Do you notice little samuel in the pic? Yeah he was having as much fun as us. He was playing with his little sister. (My wife was there, but she was not in the picture :( ).

Samuel at the bottom of "heavenly stairway".

Samuel bottom of heavenly stairway.
Samuel was standing at the bottom of the stairway to heaven..I saw a glowing halo surrounding Samuel like those found around an angel who has descended from heaven to help us. So I quickly whipped out my camera handphone and took a shot of him and his 'glow'. Do you notive the 'glow'? This stairway is at The Forum, right in the middle of the complex, but I also think that this stairway has been built to produce a heavenly aura in the shopping complex.

Sandra like a pro!

Sandra is like a pro.
Can you believe what I see? Sandra is playing the electronic piano!? She is playing three-blind-mice song out of the blue! Genius isn't she? She must be the next child prodigy of Singapore...Haaa, I wish! She is pretending to be like an ex-pert..But who knows..she might just one day be the ONE.

You are my sunshine...

Samuel is my sunshine.
Few hours ago, we were hanging out by my car. Samuel was showing me his stunt - swinging up and down the railing. Whoa, I thought it was so dangerous! But he was just too cute to stop him like the way he looks at me in this picture. My heart melted away as soon as I clicked this pic...I pray in my heart he didn't fell off. haaa he didn't luckily.

Samuel posing like a pro!

Samuel the pro violinist.
And here is Samuel, practicing his master piece for The Forum performance. I hope he could make it to the stage haaa... I was tired coaching him already, so I asked him to continue playing while I took a picture of him. I told him I'm gonna put it on my blog and he was so happy! His meimei is in the background hee hee .. ..

Gone fishing...

Samuel and his fishing rod.
Last sunday morning was a beautiful and welcoming day. This is Samuel and his fishing rod. How many hooks can you see? I took my family to the Bedok jetty at east coast park for a whole day fishing. It was really hard to fish for anything, as there were simply too many small fish (babies) in the water around the jetty and they nimbled away all my bait! But we had lots of fun in through it all. I was so sad that I couldn't catch a single 'big' fish to show off to my dearest boy. He was also really excited about catching a fish! But nevermind, I will try again next time... Papa am a good angler by the ahaa...

My dearest cowgirl daughter..

My sweetie!..
My daughter girl, dressed up in denim jeans dress so cowgirl look! She is simply so sweet and attractive! She still has a bigger right eye right? YEah I thought so, but it made her so much sweeter. Next would be going for Singapore Toddler Idol contest! Is there one?

Samuel looking so fresh in the morning!

He looks so fresh!..
Last Saturday morning, its time to go for his violin lessons. His class is going to perform at The Forum for the public at end of Nov. And he is really excited at the thought. I hope he can practice more often to improve his violin skills so that he would not be embarrassed in front of the crowd during the performance. Well, I trust God will be the provider of courage and skills for my dear boy.

My dearest daughter cannot go without a pic!

Dearest daughter needs a pic!
Near the main foyer of the Vivo City, my daughter loves to have a pic taken of her! You could see the multiple super-fast escalators zipping past behind her. The escalators went in different directions...never seen before in Singapore, Johor and Batam!

He's so happy!

He is so happy!..
Finally at Vivo City last Saturday morning. It was hard to find a parking lot. Everyone was going to Vivo City to check it out as it was newly opened and it is the biggest shopping complex in the whole of Singapore, Johor and Batam! Haa, I love to see Singapore building the biggest, tallest and greatest buildings in the whole of ASEAN.
My son was jumping for joy when we arrived at Vivo City. He is fully awake and as excited as I am!

He's so tired...

Samuel is so tired..
It was 10am on a beautiful saturday morning, but my dearest son is so tired... I really feel very sorry for him. As he had to wake up with me six o'clock every morning. I guess the weeks toiled hard on him..but we were going to Vivo City! Wake up my boy! wake up..

Sandra enjoying a cushion of soft toys..

Sandra enjoys herself on a soft cushion
Can't help taking more pictures of Sandra. She was enjoying herself on a load of soft toys at a shopping mall downtown. Doesn't she looks so adorable!??

Samuel darling close up..

Samuel close up
We had morning breakfast last sunday before heading our way to church. Samuel likes to dress up well to go to church, to go to his sunday classes and to meet his toddler friends. Took this shot as he posed a smile at me. He seems to grow up by the day and his baby features are melting away to revealing the boy as he transforms..

My pretty Sandra so tribal!

Sandra so tribal!
Here's my sweetest daughter no money can buy. Really love her so much and the more I looked at this pic the more my love for her wells up from deep inside. She is dressed in a lovely pink sleeveless blouse and pants with ribbons hanging from the sides, just like my little tribal princess!

Bad haze in the sky near my home..

Bad haze in the sky
Took this picture last sunday. The haze was really bad. On normal days, I could see the Suntec city and CBD area very clearly (even the DHL blip that ascends into the sky over 300 metres). But on this special day, I can only see haze..like the fog the western countries get during colder seasons.. I hope the haze can clear up soon.

No UFO in the sun a day later..

Sun without black UFO
Here is another shot of the setting sun a day later. Taken around the same time as in my previous shot. This time, there is nothing in the middle of the sun. This means that there is nothing wrong with my handphone camera and there is really something up there that appears in the middle of the sun and then somehow it is just not there at all. It might be a satellite in orbit that regularly moved into the middle of the sun (like a solar eclipse) or there is something unknown in the sky.

A black UFO in the Sun?

Samuel and Sandra at suntec Food Court
I have the habit of looking into the setting sun. Don't try too often though as it can be harmful to your eyes. But I just have this habit, because I know that we are not alone. Like this picture taken two weeks ago (didn't have time to blog..due to workload) which I doanloaded here. You can see that there is something in the middle of the sun - a black UFO. Something that a visitor noted the last time in my previous post. There is really something in the sun. Especially with the recent haze problem, I could look better directly into the sun and my handphone camera could also take better shots. I will post another pic on the haze I took from my home.

Petrified wood near my neighbourhood!

Samuel and Sandra at suntec Food Court
Few days ago I was taking a stroll with my kids out near my home and found these strange stones in the garden park. When I took a closer look, I realised they were petrified wood that became stones. Never saw them before there, I think the estate people bought them and put them in the garden. There were a lot of them as you can see. Petrified wood came from prehistoric era (jurassic..sound a bell?) and over millions of years of sand (silicon) deposits into individual cells in the trunk thus forming a stone that looks just like the tree trunk.

Samuel and Sandra at Suntec Food Court

Samuel and Sandra at suntec Food Court
Last Saturday was another family outing. We went to the food court for dinner with my mum and brother. My brother took a picture of my darlings hanging onto the railing while I was eating my dinner. My baby girl simply enjoys every minute of outing with the family. Hey, I realised that my brother's camera phone takes better pics than mine! I need a new handphone! haaa..

Samuel at the viewing gallery T1 Airport

Samuel at T2 viewing gallery
"Daddy, can we go for holidays?" Samuel asked. "I want to sit an aeroplane..." And he kept repeating that last night. I realised that since they came into our lives, we had no time to plan for holidays, and being too small to travel, we hesitated whenever we thought of going on a trip. The good news is now they are old enough, and my baby girl just got her new BIOMETRIC passport! Wow its really cool compared to my own passport. So we are planning where to go in December! yeay!!

Sandra running to dear daddy..

Sandra running towards me
We were at the Changi Airport last night. Its a beautiful place where you can admire the achievements done by our international airport. We were at the viewing gallery terminal 2 and here is Sandra, carrying her pink water bottle, running toward her dear daddy. It was such as wonderful feeling to be with my family at the airport. We saw many expats arriving and leaving our country...I think we have done very well!

Sandra at Macs playing with a drinking straw

Caught this moment and I thought she was so adoring! Look at how she plays with the straw with her mouth. We were waiting until her lesson begins so we had nothing better to do than to play with MacDonald's straws. I hope the branch manger didn't mind us taking so many straws!

Samuel and Sandra going for violin lessons

Samuel & Sandra going violin lesson
What a beautiful Saturday morning! Hmm, we are going to The Forum for their music lessons. My dear children totally excited about their lessons they were hurrying us to take them there. See they are carrying their own violin to show how much they want to go.. haaa..

Sandra at Toy R Us

Taken at the Forum Toy R Us store. Was waiting for Samuel to finish his violin lesson. Took Sandra to the forum shopping and she really enjoyed herself fiddling with toys there!

Sandra close up!

Sandra close up
I realised that my daughter has got a bigger right eye. This pic was taken when we were at The Forum today. It is clearly seen in this close up shot of her in my arms as I took this pic with my camera hp. I think she is going to be a right-eyed lefty. Yeah! She is a lefty like me..and how I know? Well my wife told me so, but I also had observed that she'd grab anything with her left hand first..My genes expressed. =)

Daddy and Sandra

Daddy kissing Sandra
This picture was taken by my brother when he happened to see me playing with my daughter. I think we were at Tangs downtown. I didn't know he had taken it until he MMSed me. My heart melted totally when I saw this pic, as I saw all the joy expressed in Sandra. I love you my dearest dearest baby daughter!

Samuel posing for the best shot at the wedding..

Samuel posing for pic
Samuel posing happily in front of my HP camera. We were at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club for my old friend's wedding. In the background is the open air tentage for the wedding ceremony and dinner (buffet style) much to the preference of Europeans in Singapore. I think Samuel was really happy that night, because his 'uncle christof' invited him to the party and he was served with lots of food!!

My ex-colleagues (old friend) wedding...

Christof wedding ice block
The time has come for him to finally tie the knot. A few years ago, he'd told me that he would remain single. But love came, the girl of his life crossed path with his, and they fell in love. Christof is a gentleman from Germany, my ex-colleague when I was working as an RA at NUS in the late 90s. Well, they have been seeing each other for a long long time, since the first time I got to know him, but they never mentioned anything about getting married. I'm so happy for them. The pic is a statue of two doves embracing lovingly on top of the symbol of love, carved out of a block of ice. Isn't that amazing?!

Samuel got a hair cut..

Samuel got a hair cut
Took Samuel for a hair cut in the afternoon at Parkway Parade. And an expensive hair cut too (60% more than a normal cut) from a professional saloon for kids. It was for attending an old friend's (ex-colleague's) wedding tonight. He looked so grown up, oh my God! I would have preferred him with the longer curly hair that made him looked cuter.. But what to do, it has already been cut. And he is all smiles anyway! haaa..

Teacher's Day Celebration...

Presents from students
It was a day to remember...Was my FIRST teacher's day celebration since I began my teaching career as a full-fledge qualified teacher. The students gave so much love to us that day..I was touched beyond the realm of understanding, beyond the dreams I wished for...and beyond everything that I have ever felt in my entire life. Thank you... My emotions took over my sobbing heart, and it overtook my body tiredness...I remembered that very teacher's day morning as I stepped into my form class, and someone ask loudly, "Cher, you looked so tired today!" The last day of Term 3, and I had somehow borrowed energy from tomorrow to stay awake that day...

Darling daughter at restaurant..

Sandra face up
My samuel took this picture of darling daughter with my handphone. I wasn't around when he "stole" my phone to take this shot..saw this only when I was uploading pictures for the blog. I think he is really beginning to be good at photography..maybe send him for some photography society to next time.

Samuel in library..

Samuel reading book
Went to the library after dinner. We were at AMK Community library (my favourite library) to check out some nice books on civilizations of antiquity. Amazing the books they have on this subject. Honestly, these are really rare and good books to read.
Here is my boy, seated along a row of book shelfs and reading a book he picked up. When did he started to read on his OWN??? Wow, amazing....

Sandra with her balloon..

Sandra with her balloon
My brother took this of my little girl last night when we went out for dinner together. She got the balloon from another kid who happened to walked by and said bye to her, but leaving the balloon with her. Strange isn't it...My daughter is really so enchanting..ahaa

Strange object in the middle of the Sun..

EVening sun strange object
Received a few visitor's email to my blog regarding the picture that I took last friday of the setting sun. They noted that there was a black-blue object in the middle of the sun, and asked if it was a dirt on my windscreen.
When I took a closer look at it (magnified it using MS Paint), it is a strange dark blue object (UFO) hovering in front of the sun. If you download and save the picture from my blog, then enlarge it, you can also see the object. I wonder what this UFO is? Do you know? It is in the shape of a crescent moon tilted 90 degrees. I included the magnified picture above...

Tired Soul yearns for the Rays of Hope

EVening sun
Was driving to pick up my kids. It was already late in the evening, and the sun was almost disappearing under the horizon..My tired body pushed on, working its way across the heavy traffic. My soul breathed in the rays of the setting sun, nourished by its warmth and energy. Otherwise, I wondered how could I stand being awake in a totally exhausted body. Always looking forward to the weekends...Thank God.

(BTW: if you looked at the sun, you would probably realise that it has shifted slightly to the left as compared to an earlier picture I posted on July 29. They were both taken on the same strech of road and at the same angle.) do you know why?? If you do, pls drop me a comment. Thank you.

My wife's BDAY cake! Toy trains sponsored by Samuel..

Mummy's cake
Celebrated my wife's birthday together with her parents, siblings and my two dearest kids last weekend. It was celebrated in advance, as her birthday was somewhere in the middle of this week. Happy birthday my darling, mother to my children. My wish is that you are as lovely as always will be. I LOVE YOU!

Sandra in pants

sandra in pants
We were at the Forum last weekend, and my wife dressed her in sling pants. Forum has many children's clothes and toy store, the biggest being the Toys R' Us store on the third floor. You can imagine how my children went wild trying to convince me to buy all the toys in the world! And at the ground floor is MacDONALDS', my son's favourite foood...So as expected, we had nuggets, fries and the big macs for dinner.. Yummy. I like Macs too!

Found this video about UFO while surfing youtube.com. I think this is real... Never doubt the technology. Can we achieve this? Sure, science is the key.

Video display of the National Day Fireworks

Fireworkz so beautiful!

fireworks so beautiful
Finally the moment has arrived... The explosive devices shot up into the sky giving brilliant display of the most beautiful designs of flowers, trees, candles, stars, musical notes, etc...The sound of the explosion was like thundering booms from the war movies when infantrymen dug closed to the ground under enemy fire. The rattling of the sound of gunfire seemed to go on forever in the night abazed with fires from the sky. But they were so beautiful and awesome.

Fireworks brighten up the sky

fireworkz
Last night took my family to the Marina South Park for the fireworks display on the eve of National Day. Half an hour earlier, we had dinner with some of my practicumates when we served at PYSS. It was like meeting old friends who had toughed it out together and supported one another during difficult times. Like old war heroes recounting experiences from the war...
My family and I were waiting for the sky to darken and the firework display to start. While do so, took this beautiful picture of the evening sky.

My darling Prince Samuel, Where Art Thou Went?

Sleeping samuel
The best picture ever of my Samuel. Caught on Camera! It must have been tough on him for waking up every morning at six in the morning together with daddy. At least he could catch some sleep in the car. My dear child, thank you for being there whenever I needed a listening ear, for taking my mind off of many problems in my head, for being so supportive...

Nite out on a date with my Daughter

Nite out with my lovely daughter
My wife dressed up my daughter like a beautiful young lady going out on a first date with her boyfriend on a romantic friday evening. But this was a family nite out along with my wife and my son. Four of us were at Bugis Terra Cafe for dinner. My daughter sat opposite me, and she was ready to order her menu of appetizers, main course and dessert! Luckily, there was set meal that nite, so it didn't took too long for her to point to one of the set meal items. But she couldn't eat them at her age. Haaa...My daughter, one day you will become Singapore Idol.

Beautiful Sunset

Beautiful Sunset
It was going home time, and the streets were packed with vehicles on a Friday evening. While waiting for the traffic to clear, took a shot of the setting sun, in full glory with an orange glow. I could look into the sun directly not hurting my eyes. It was then a very special moment I felt my spirit soared once again to the sky, away from bodily tiredness and weariness.

Teacher Convocation Ceremony, 13 July 2006

Teacher Convocation
It was a grand occasion with almost 1,200 teachers from the primary, secondary and JC cohorts taking the Teacher's Pledge to LOVE, CARE, and NURTURE our children who belong to us. Very touched by the grandeur of the place, NIE placed highest priority for our first day as full-fledge certified teachers of the Republic of Singapore.
Many tears shed, hugs exchanged and photographs taken, as we parted - separate ways, from the cradle of teacher education at NIE into the hearts of our school children.

My wife, our mummy, where are thou?

My children agonised to see their mum again
My wife started learning to drive a couple of months ago. She wanted to help out with the fetching of kids so that I would not need to drop both kids off in the morning before going to school. And twice nightly, I have to pick up my children from their care-takers and go fetch my wife at the driving school. And on those nights, we usually waited and waited...and waited for my wife to be released from her lessons. It was really some difficult nights to get by especially with two little children in tow.
See their faces? They were bored and exhausted waiting for their dearest mummy to quickly come out of the school! Imagine how I looked? Haa...equally horrible.
