Nasi Lemak and lots of satay for Samuel

Samuel having a two course dinner
After working so hard flying his kite, Samuel is getting rather hungry. He had a whole packet of Nasi Lemak and 5 satays from FATMAN's Satay (the famous satay of Satay club's fame). He is just so hungry. Oh he also downed a can of COKE! Isn't he simply amazing?!

It's a UFO????

Samual flying his kite!
Wow, I realised I could create hoax in Singapore. Its actually a kite flying in the sky. Part of Samuel's head can be seen in the foreground. You know what, my son, only 3 yrs old, can fly a kite?! Isn't it amazing? He can literally liftoff the kite from the ground and set it high in the sky..yeS! You don't believe me? Oh forget it!

Marina South has a very hugh football field (I think there are 4 football fields in total). The wind is good for flying kites. There is a shop opposite the field that sells kites, all types, from paper, to plastic to cloth types. I bought a paper kite for my son for $2.00 and it flew like a soaring eagle!

We live in tall..tall buildings in the sky (pigeon holes..haa)

one of the many homes in the sky in the Singapore heartlands
This is an example of Singapore's brilliant housing design.. Everyone has a home to live in. When we look into the heartlands, we see skylines of residential homes in the sky. How many country can beat us? Our neighours are everywhere: above, below, left, right, front, back...

This is my aunt's flat who lives on the 13th floor and is taking care of my youngest little sweetie girl. How to make it without her? Have to bring my baby to work otherwise...!?!

East Coast Park...the sun, the sea and the sand.....

East coast park by the sea
Took a detour on the route home from work to East Coast Park. Hmm, what lovely smell of the seas. Those beautiful waves lapping on the shore, the wind gently caressed my cheeks..all too soothing from a hard day's work.

I really thought Singapore has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, though our sea looked rather greenish due to the blooming blue-green bacteria (cyanobacteria) in the water under to ever hot and bright piercing rays of our equatorial sun. But its so unique, unlike those blue oceans we see in the other hemispheres.

Just a deep breath took my soul away into wonderland, my body stood still for a moment lost in time. My soul fluttered into the winds and lost itself among the sounds of the lapping waves. It was so transquil becoming a part of nature.

suddenly I realised that the sun is setting and I have to rush to pick up my little children along the way to my wife's office. I'll be back..

Singapore River - So pleasing to the eyes...

Singapore river
Was going to meet some friends down at the Gallery Hotel on Saturday morning. Since I was there early, I walked down to the river bank of our famous Singapore river and took some pictures. It was about 10:45am and the weather was windy and cloudy. There wasn't much people in the area. Sighted an expat couple having meal at one of the river bank cafes. Occasionally an expat or two jogged by.

And My daughter posing for Sports illustrated!

Samuel eating MacDonald ice-cream cone..yum yum

Samuel eating icecream
Samuel happily eating his vanilla ice-cream cone at MacDonalds. I know his mother wouldn't be too pleased when she sees this one. But who cares, its a delight just watching him savour his ice-cream cone.

Panoramic view of my VIOS dashboard

VIOS dashboard

Hey, look at this picture... It's some gorgeous panoramic view of my car's dashboard. You see, I've been experimenting with my camara phone functions. I have to learn things the harder way; dropping the written manual in preference for hands-on practice.

You know, how can I do without my car. Everyday, I have two kids to fetch plus I'm my wife's chauffeur! My friend who has a baby daughter and maid just told me he didn't need a car for four years..how did he survive our ever-crowded and congested public transport services? ..No wonder I see so many taxis on the road these days and I wonder why..

MacRichie Reservior

MacRichie Reservior

This picture was taken when I went to the MacRichie Reservoir for a walk. This image is very special. You would notice the hypnotic effects of the long track that gradually disappears into the background. Do you feel as if your consciousness is slowly being sucked into the picture?

There are many stories regarding the MacRichie Reservoir. Rumours about that place includes an abandoned WWII japanese shrine that is haunted, a tombstone grave of an ancient chinese official and the haunted playground by the carpark?.

Through the eyes of the Beholder..

My delight..the eyes are my jewels on a crown of God-sent Samuel.

tagged along you the power of love in infinite measures."
