My dearest dears...

Sentosa Train from Vivocity...
Heres a picture of the Sentosa mighty trains. They now replace the ferries that once took Singaporeans and tourists across the straits of Sentosa to the little getaway island. Taken just after we alighted the train at one of the Sentosa train station. What a beauty!
Sentosa ferry terminal torned down...
Last sunday took my kids to sentosa. We travelled to the island via the Sentosa train. On our way, saw the old ferry terminal, once the most important stop over for main islanders to disembark to Sentosa, now being torn down by bulldozers. Wonder what they will use the space for next?
My children at Ikea Tampines
Finally back to updating my blog. It had been a busy month for me, with so much work to finish. Now, at last the holidays are beginning to shine brightly over the horizons. The picture of my kids at Ikea last week. Went there for dinner and also wanted to see the new Ikea megastore in Tampines! It's really huge and well designed for customers to shop comfortably. My kids entertaining themselves at a games console erected for just that purpose!

Samuel on his horsey!! Wow his looks like a darn good jockey!
Look who is that!? Its really Samuel, my darling boy, riding on his horse! He is looking really cool man. Oh my goodness, he is simply the most wonderful jockey I have seen!
Samuel going for horse-riding at Pasir Ris park!
After the Sentosa trip, we had a nice lunch and headed for Pasir Ris Park. I heard from my colleague that there is a new kids attraction down at the Pasir Ris Park next to a burned out ghostly looking bicycle kiosk (heard that it was struck by lightning and was blown to bits!) It was certainly scary sight. Well, next to it is the new horse riding stable where kids can rent a horse and ride on it..yes even newbies like my samuel! He is looking so smart in this pic as he waited for his turn on the horsey...
Visit to the Underwater World at Sentosa..
Picture I had taken from the Underwater World at Sentosa! Took both my kids and my wife to Sentosa yesterday on Labour Day holiday morning. I guess we were there too early since we found out only when we reach there that the Underwater World opens at 10am. We were there at about 9:15am.. So we took a slow walk along the Siloso beach next to it until it opens. Here's a pic I took of the 3-D image of JAWS. Wow, its is really scary, and I was delighted that I could capture it in my handphone camera.. Had a really great morning visiting Sentosa....Then to our next destination!
Thru the "EYES" of my dearest Samuel
It has been a long while since I last posted on my blog. And it has been even longer since I posted pictures of my two dearest children on the blog. It has been due to my lost IR device...I thought my daughter might have misplaced it. Yeah, if you knew, it wasn't easy for me to find another one that is cheap. Then, out of the blue my daughter took it out for me from nobody knows where just now. Here's the pic of my son (eyes only) showing a big smile on his face knowing that daddy can finally upload pics of him again. I am equally excited about it as well and my fingers were typing really fast on this post.

The Ocean Floor of Busselton Maring Reseach Lab
As promised, this are pictures of the Busselton Research Lab's ocean floor. Spectacular view and really felt I was walking at the bottom of the ocean!
Picture taken from another view. See the starfish?
This is another view of the ocean floor. The wooden stilts that props up the research lab in the ocean are covered with corals and plant life. Did you notice a free-ranged blacked stripped fish in the picture?
I lost my IR Device..
Dear friends, thank you for your patience and 'pressure' to get me to update my blog. To be honest, I have been super busy over the last few months. Getting on to the internet is a luxury for me and to be able to blog makes heaven. It feels so good to let you know of the latest happening in my life and of my two little sweetie kids. But work just came rushing on me like Tsunami. Thank God I made it to the term break.
I have a lot of pictures taken using my ever handy handphone, but I lost my IR device I used to upload pictures from the phone. Must have been the hectic lifestyle I led that everything just go missing after a while. Sigh, I am going down to the ComDex IT Show at the Expo to buy a new IR device.
Thank you again and I will fill you up with more pics when I return k! Yeay! One WEEK holiday is here!

Happy Lunar New Year!
Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy Lunar New Year! This is a significant event for billions of Chinese people around the world. The story goes when an ancient monster long time ago known as "Nian" which means "The Year" in Chinese often attacked and killed many villagers in China. Nobody could stop the hideous beast but to just run away fearing their lives.
Then one day, an ancient wise sage appeared to the villagers and was told that "Nian" was about to attack again. The wise sage came from the deep forests in China and he thought he might want to test and defeat the beast to save the lives of many. So, true to the warning, "Nian" attacked one night.. This time, the villagers have the wise sage with them, who immediately jumped to action. He rode his horse and fought with the beast. Fortunately, he was able to trick the beast into his forest where he was stronger there and eventually defeated "Nian".
The wise sage came back to the villagers and told them that "Nian" has been defeated and will not trouble the villagers again. But, he warned that during every lunar new year, the villagers must put up red banners and lanterns on their houses. They must also light firecrackers and perform lion dances. These, he said, would frighten the beast away and will therefore not attack them. The wise sage found out about this after defeating "Nian".
Where is "Nian" today? It was said that the beast still remained in the deep forest under the guard of the wise sage. But sometimes, the beast do escape....

Samuel at the playground...
My dear Samuel enjoyed himself thoroughly at a local playground. There were nobody around and he had the entire playgound to himself. Unlike Singapore, Perth is not very densely populated and there are still many areas that are yet to be developed. But the scenery is awesome...
Super long bridge to the ocean floor...wow
This is the very long jetty found at Busselton. It measures some three kilometres from the beach and leads to a marine research lab that is built into the ocean floor. Its three storeys deep and we stood right at the bottom of the ocean. The jetty looks quite scary because there isn't safety railing on one side of it and the wind speed was pretty strong! More pictures of the ocean floor to come!
Daddy and Sandra..
That's me and my dearest daughter in a park while we stopped over for sightseeing. We were on our way down to Mandura, a city that's about a hundred kilometres south of Perth city. The scenery was so beautiful and we saw many wild seagulls having a great time frolicking in the vicinity.
This picture was taken by Samuel and he was really good at it..
Sandra on her first day in Perth..
It was the first day of our tour in Perth, Australia. And our first breakfast in a pie bakery known as 'Miami Bakehouse'. This shop is reputed to be one of the best australian pie bakeries in western australia. So we went over to give it a try. And its really yummiee...my children, especially my daughter has a strong sense of taste and would reject food if they are according to her 'not niceeee'. I guess the pie she ate passed her quality assurance test as she finished one whole pie (about 500g of meat and pastry). Wow...

Dear friends, finally, I got a chance to upload at least one picture of my perth trip last december. This is my favourite picture of my two little angels holding hands as I took the shot. We were going back from the cottage restaurant after a hefty lunch, and they were standing just outside the entrance next to a flowery bush.
They are my angels and I really love them to the core...Enjoy this pic! More to follow!

My Photo Album is back online..
Dear friends,
I know it must have been a long wait for you to see pictures of my cute little kids in Perth Australia. I really loved to put them up for you, but as you already know, my service provider hasn't been keeping its promise to solve my problem soon. It took more than one month for them to fix my "exceptional problem" according to the technical person who called me up last week. Well, it sure is an 'exceptional' problem given that they had to take one month to fix my problem with log-in. According to him, my problem is a unique problem that has only happened to me and my account, so it is really weird I thought.
I hope to put up my kids pictures soon, as right now I am really busy with a lot of work to finish. Thanks for your patience my friends.
